2026 Cooling Center Hours

The City of Darlington is managing several Cooling Centers throughout the town during Summer 2026 when the temperature or heat index reaches 95-degrees. Seating, cool air, cold drinks and snacks will be provided. Below are the locations and times:

Harmon Baldwin Gym/Recreation Department

300 Sanders St.

Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

City Hall

400 Pearl St.

Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Street & Sanitation Department

586 West Broad St.

Saturday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
