CITY HOLDS SPECIAL MEETING
Darlington City Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Harmon Baldwin Recreation Center, 300 Sanders St., Darlington.
The meeting will be held for an executive session regarding a Police Department, City Council, and Personnel matter. A vote of Council may or may not take place following this executive session.
In response to the threat of COVID-19, Darlington City Council will meet under social distancing guidelines. Masks are recommended. There will be limited seating available, and public and media access to the live meeting will be provided by a live video steam.
Anyone may view the live stream at www.facebook.com/DarlingtonSC/live/. Please note, there is a processing time of approximately 20 seconds for Facebook Live.
After the meeting, the video will be available on the City’s YouTube Channel and on Facebook. There will be a link to the video on the City’s website as well.
Citizen comments are accepted in writing on a continual basis via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, dropped off at the drop box at City Hall, 400 Pearl Street, or mailed to City Planning, Attn: Public Comments, P.O. Box 57, Darlington, SC 29540.
Please include your name and daytime phone number with your comments. No anonymous comments will be read to City Council.
*Any comments that you want to be read at the August 11 meeting to be entered into the minutes of City Council should be submitted at least three (3) business days in advance of that meeting, by Thursday, August 6, 2020.
