City of Darlington to Host Community Concert Series
DARLINGTON, SC (March 13, 2025) – The City of Darlington will host the Community Concert Series, featuring the Next Level Band of Charlotte, Tru Sol Band and Josh Brannon Band throughout April, May and June 2025.
The free concert series will bring entertainment to residents as each event will be hosted at a different venue located within the City of Darlington on April 12, May 10 and June 13. iHeart Media’s Dan E. Lockemy will also emcee the concerts in May and June as he brings his own unique charismatic form of entertainment.
“The City of Darlington is really excited to bring these incredibly talented professional performers to its residents,” said City of Darlington Public & Community Affairs Director, Hunter Thomas. “Hosting concerts in various locations throughout the City is important because it gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy live entertainment close to home. The City also hopes visitors from across the Pee Dee and state travel to Darlington to enjoy the entertainment as well.”
Next Level Band of Charlotte
The Community Concert Series will kick off on Saturday, April 12, from 6 – 10 p.m., as the Next Level Band of Charlotte performs during the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new Blue St. Sports Complex. The Next Level Band of Charlotte is an energetic, eight-piece party band that guarantees a night of non-stop dancing with music from Beach, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, Jazz, Motown, Top-40 and more.
Tru Sol Band
On Saturday, May 10, Tru Sol Band will perform at Virgil Wells Stadium located on Magnolia St. from 7 – 10 p.m. Tru Sol Band is a popular band with more than 20 years of experience. The band performs hits from the Motown Era, Classic Oldies, the 70’s and 80’s, and of course, today’s top Pop & R&B hits and more.
Josh Brannon Band
Josh Brannon Band will rock the Community Concert Series to its conclusion on Friday, June 13, as they perform at the Public Square located in the center of Darlington. The concert will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Josh Brannon Band plays their own original country songs, as well as top Country and Rock hits from throughout the decades.
