For street light outages, please email lweatherford@cityofdarlington.com with the number listed on the pole and the street or intersection where it stands.  Reports are made on a regular basis to Duke Energy, which is responsible for lights.  Please allow at least one week for replacement to be made.  To report an outage directly to Duke Energy, follow this link.

The City evaluates each public records request and attempts to provide the information at no-cost to the requestor when such requests are not particularly voluminous or time-consuming. If it is determined that charges will be assessed for fulfilling an information request, the requestor will be notified. Actual costs will be recorded throughout the process and will be reconciled with the requestor upon completion. Prior to collection of information or fulfillment of the request, 25% of the total fee amount must be received at 400 Pearl Street Darlington, SC 29532. Find the FOIA fee schedule here.

SEWER LINE REPAIR: On Monday, July 15, N. Ervin St. will be closed at the Cashua St. entrance due to a sewer line repair. To access N. Ervin St., you will need to enter through the Spring St. entrance. Repair time is unknown until crews are able to break ground.
