Darlington Fire and Police to Host Annual Taste of Christmas, Nov. 6
DARLINGTON, SC (Oct. 20, 2025) – The Darlington Fire Department and Darlington Police Department will host the annual Taste of Christmas at First Baptist Church (216 S. Main St.) on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6 – 8 p.m.
The Taste of Darlington will feature culinary delicacies from across Darlington County, as well as fellowship and live music. Funds raised from the event will go towards the City of Darlington’s annual Toy Drive that benefits children in the community during the holiday season.
“Darlington Fire and Police always look forward to the Taste of Christmas,” said Darlington Fire Chief Pat Cavanaugh, “This has been a long-standing tradition in Darlington. It’s a wonderful time for everyone to come together and celebrate the holiday season. The funding we raise will help purchase presents for children in the community during our annual Toy Drive.”
Attendees can purchase entry into the Taste of Darlington for only $10. Kids six-years-old and younger enter for free. Tickets can be purchased at the Darlington Fire Department located at 301 Orange St. or at the gate prior to the event.
Last year’s Taste of Christmas collected more than $5,800 as more than 1,000 people took part in the fundraiser. More than 120 children benefited from last year’s donations.
