The City of Darlington Street and Sanitation Department is requesting proposals
for asphalt paving of Cross Street and Roanoke Drive.

BID DUE DATE: JULY 26, 2023 @ 5 P.M.

Please find below the requirements requested to complete this project.

Contractor shall be responsible for the following:

• Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, insurance, etc.
• Encroachment permit from SCDOT
• Approval of proposed improvement by City of Darlington Engineering and Planning Department
• Construction permit and or paving permit from City of Darlington
• Clean existing asphalt
• Fill potholes with hot asphaltic concrete materials
• Apply a tack coat
• Pave with 1-3/4″ of hot asphaltic concrete material
• Provide square yards for each individual street
• Any aprons tied into driveways re-asphalted
• Bid broken down per road

Streets to consider are as follows:

1. Cross Street from end of State Maintenance Sign to Railroad Tracks
2. Roanoke Drive from Woodcreek Drive to the cul-de-sac, to include cul-de-sac
