REQUEST FOR BIDS – LOT CLEARING OF PINE STREET & TALLULAH STREET
The City of Darlington is accepting sealed bids for the clearing and cleaning of parcels of land
from May 17, 2023 – May 31, 2023.
SCOPE OF WORK
Clean and/or clear the following parcels of land: Pine St. (165-106-03-0014 & 165-06-03-012 & 165-06-03-011), Tallulah St. (165-09-03-021)
Cleaning and/or clearing may include but is not limited to: Bush Hogging, Mowing, Trimming, Weed Eating and the removal of all Land/Yard Waste, Tree Debris, Household Debris, and Any Other Miscellaneous Debris Found on the Property.
The City of Darlington may add parcels of land to be cleared and/or cleaned as needed for the duration of the 2023-2024 fiscal year (expires June 30, 2024).
ALL BIDS MUST INCLUDE:
Cost of Project Per Property, and Copy of Certificate of General Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor must:
- Obtain and maintain a current City of Darlington Business License,
- Provide proof of worker’s compensation and general liability insurance naming City of Darlington as a certificate holder,
- Provide a completed W-9,
- And work must begin no later than 10 days after the contract is awarded.
Return sealed bids by 2pm Wednesday May 31, 2023 to Building & Codes, 400 Pearl St, Darlington, SC 29532.
Bids will be opened at 2pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023.
The City of Darlington reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids and, to waive all technicalities and formalities, and to award the Contract to another other than to the low bidder, should it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Darlington.
