The City of Darlington is accepting sealed bids from licensed and qualified contractors for the following project: Water System Improvements East Hampton St. Water Treatment Plant Filter Rehabilitation.
CONSTRUCTION TIME LIMIT: 90 Calendar Days
PROJECT SCOPE: The work to be completed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to remove and replace one (1) filter (four (4) cells) support gravel, sand and anthracite and sandblast and paint one (1) filter (four (4) cells) interior and overcoat paint filter exterior and piping.
BID OPENING DATE/TIME: Bids will be received by the Owner at 400 Pearl Street, Darlington, SC until May 3, 2022 at 6:30 P.M.
Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in Council Chambers at the appointed time during the City Council Meeting which will begin at 6:30 P.M. on May 3, 2022.
LOCATION FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS: City of Darlington, Water Office, 400 Pearl Street, Darlington, SC, 29532.
